Netcool/OMNIbus Integration Module for Brix Networks BrixWorx
The Netcool/OMNIbus Integration Module for Brix Networks BrixWorx provides an SNMP trap based integration between the BrixWorx service assurance and performance management system and Netcool/OMNIbus. The BrixWorx management system sends SNMP traps to Netcool/OMNIbus via the SNMP probe and the associated configuration rules file developed by IBM. The BrixWorx management system will notify Netcool of any alarms and events supported by the BrixWorx MIBs. With an available Netcool/OMNIbus Integration Module for BrixWorx, Netcool/OMNIbus seamlessly accepts BrixWorx alerts for user-defined key performance indicator (KPI) violations on converged services -- enabling network operators to take the appropriate corrective action and effectively manage service level agreements (SLAs). The information generated from BrixWorx allows network operators to proactively identify and repair network and service issues before the customer/end-user is ever affected.
